評論總結:

這個老場是1997年興建，是惠州區第一個球場，所以場內的樹木都相當成熟，球場較寬闊而且沒有太多的致命陷阱, 打偏了仍然有機會救回來，如果你發現最近打球不穩定，來這裡操練兩場，可以挽回不少的信心。

簡介

惠州高爾夫球場於2010年被光耀集團收購，改名為全球候鳥渡假地，球場保持原貌，多了些一層式別墅區，會所從新大裝修及升級，球會位於惠州的惠東區，附近有惠州濤景、湯泉、棕櫚島及海麗等幾個球場。從皇崗出發大巴需要約1小時半，細車應該1小時15分就到。

球會設施及服務

球會會所從新裝修，外形不變，內裡卻翻天地覆的改變，裝修富時代感和品味，活像一間精品酒店一樣，設施如餐廳、更衣室、Proshop等齊備，而且環境舒適，球會餐廳的食品(1, 2)無論味道和賣相的水平也大大提升(客家菜在惠州很普遍，球會做的梅菜扣肉和咸雞我都嚐過，相當不錯，最令人驚喜的是老火例湯，火喉十足！) 餐廳和即將興建的酒店將會交托給廣州白天鵝酒店管理，餐廳員工的服務態度非常好，前臺的服務員亦不錯。

真的要讚讚草坪部，一年四季草坪都維持很高水平，值得其它球場參考，好！

球場設計及趣味性

球場是渡假型的設計，比較平易近人，球道較為寬闊，長草區不算長(不過如果將長草區的草留長，難度立即升級)，水和沙池等障礙不多，果嶺亦偏向平坦，有見及此，球會將大部份球道的兩旁都加上OB樁，部份球道也多種多了樹，除加強球道視覺的觀感之外亦令球道沒以前的寬闊，球道現時雖然仍沒有飛崖過水等陷阱，但比起之前已了不少變化及趣味性，如果你選擇打6600碼的藍Tee，要打好成績的話，你的長打必須有一定功力，因為大部份的四杆洞都超過400碼。

A short par 5 with a straight fairway which turns to the left with some water on the right side which is not in play unless……….

A very generous fairway…. length is the only difficulty here.

Here is another one with water but all you need to do is aim to the left side bail out area a bit & you will be ok.

This is a long par 5 that goes slightly upslope.

The hardest hole on the course, a dogleg left, the 2nd is going upslope with bunkers guarding the green.
