簡介
蓮花山球會開業多久不太清楚，起碼有13年是肯定的。而且由德國球王Bernard Langer 設計，在中國甚少看到他的作品。
球場位於番禺，如果從深圳出發，大概一個半小時的車程便可以到，如果從香港出發，可以選擇從中港城坐船去蓮花山港，然後碼頭至球會只10分鐘；從球會出市中心約20分鐘，坐的士約RMB60。
球會設施及服務
會所面積對一個只有18洞的球場來說頗大，雖然有十多年的歷史，保養仍然甚好，設施及裝修質素相當好，內有Proshop，而更衣室(1, 2, 3)又大又舒服，餐廳(1, 2)有分中西式，有酒吧，天氣好的話在露天茶座坐坐也甚寫意，服務水平不錯；會所樓上有住房(1, 2, 3, 4)，和有一個小型兒童遊樂場。
球場及果嶺保養
今次冬未之際去，草坪較乾，微黃，但整體來說，仍然有很高的水平。非常好！3/13
而且環境依然不錯。
球僮知識及服務
球僮很好，資料充足準確。
球場設計及趣味性
老球場和現今的新場比較，總長度會較短，金Tee也只有6,800碼左右。
這裡甚多水障，大部份都在左右兩邊，正面要飛水的不算太多。球場有大量的狗腿洞，設計上可攻可守，雖然算是一個平地場，設計和組合相當恰當，極富趣味性。
特別一提#18號洞，大C型球道，藍Tee只有470多碼，如果發球選擇落點恰當，會有機會兩on捉鷹抓鳥。
果嶺則較平坦。

開波右面有水，不過落點幾濶。果嶺有小小升起右面係沙池。
Fairly straightforward opener. Important to avoid the fairway bunkers.

短Par 3，開波落山，果嶺前面有水。
Tiny, downhill par 3. Green breaks a lot from back to front.

Dogleg right，濶球道但第二桿要過小小水上果嶺。Pretty dogleg right.

開波向左面沙池因為右面有水，果嶺上斜。
Reachable par 5, slightly uphill. Water shouldn’t really be in play.

長par 3，有小小落斜，果嶺右面有好多沙池。
Long par 3, better left and away from those bunkers.

長par 4，球道中央種左樹(小心唔好入，唔係食硬bogey)將球道一分為二，果嶺亦係升記左及右邊有沙池。
S/I No. 1. Split fairway and quite long. Green is elevated. Par is a wonderful score.

Dogleg left，開波落點左右都有沙池，第二桿就要過D水。
Nice dogleg left. Water guards the front and left of the green.

短par 5，開波前及左面全部都係水。果嶺左右亦有沙池保護。
Straightaway par 5 with water all the way down the left. Again, it’s reachable in two for the longer hitters.

靚靚par 4，不過落點就左右都有水，之後上斜，果嶺左前方有巨深沙池 – 要小心！
Cracking hole! Plays uphill to a green guarded by deep traps. Water on both sides of the fairway – better be accurate!

Dogleg right球道，D水由 tee台一路去到果嶺。
Lovely dogleg right here. Water shouldn’t really be in play as the fairway is realtively wide.

中距離 par 3，右前方係沙池及水，開波最好向左少少。
Tough par 3 – left is much much better than right.

長 par 4，開波要過D水
Longish par 4. Good drive required.

開波要過水，D水沿路一直去果嶺。
Short par 5 with water all the way down the right. To carry those trees on the right (& leave a short route to the green) you need to hit it 240 yards.

中長過水par 3。
Another longish par 3. Green is quite big but features a lot of slope.

短dogleg right，可以用中長鐵或wood開波避球道右面沙池，第二桿要過D水。
Short par 4 requiring nothing more than a long iron/fairway wood from the tee. Stream in front of the green.

開波前右方有水第二桿亦要過D河，之後果嶺在左面箭咀所指位置。
Very dangerous par 5. Good straight drive will leave you the option of going over the trees on the left to try and reach the green. Water short and left of the putting surface!!!!

呢個就係個場既招牌兼signature hole，係一個要過水既半island green，非常靚！只要唔起風就難度唔高。
The club’s signature hole and a pretty spectacular one at that. Green is relatively wide – only really needs a 9 iron or so but you wouldn’t believe the number of balls in the lake.

一張巨圖！因為條 Fairway又長又轉灣足足成500幾碼長！
怕水兼唔夠距離(150-180碼)可向藍箭咀打，紅箭咀要過沙池(220-240碼)可以博兩桿上，黑箭咀要差不多280碼或以上！
John Daly could drive this par 5. Huge dogleg right, if you can carry 240 yards you can take the tiger line over the water which will leave you a mid iron. Find the lake and you’re left in the drop zone miles back!!!
評分
這個球場是廣東省內難得的步行場，邊打邊走，非常享受。
球場設計一流，合理而富趣味性，難度適中，可攻也可守；草坪和園藝有很高水平。
一別多年，各樣表現仍然出色，唯獨週邊環境，在球場之外多了很多高樓大廈，或多或少影響了景觀。
雖然如此，仍然是一個靚場，個人而言，非常欣賞和喜歡 Ace 3/13
