Review Summary:
As mentioned, this is one massive resort with almost everything in it, you can easily spend days with your family in it without going out. The hotel has been renovated recently, though not deluxe, the atmosphere is relaxing. The new standard room are much much better than before. But I would suggest to upgrade to their apartment unit, if you have a large family, a villa is a good choice too.

Introduction
This massive resort has a 27 holes golf course plus entertainment such as safari, water world, cowboy town….etc all within 1 single development, so it is ideal for all of us to spend few days together & have a good time : )
The resort is near Meleka & about 1 hour & 10 minutes from Kuala Lumpur international airport.
Club Facilities & Service
The club is right next to the hotel with all the normal facilities such as cafe、locker and proshop, the service of the staff is OK but on the slow side.
Fairway & Green maintenance
The condition is great especially the green.
Caddy Service & knowledge
Most Malaysian golf course do not provide caddies but this course has some Indonesian, the one I had was quite good, good knowledge of the course, speaks good English & lots of smiles.
Course Design
It’s been awarded one of the top ten in Malaysia, it consists of three 9 holes, they are Rocky, Palm course & Crocodile Course, the designer has made this resort style golf course amateur friendly but still very interesting to play for lower handicappers as every hole plays differently, some are uphill, downhill and some challenging doglegs.

Water is on the left, the approach to the green also needs to carry over water.

A slighly upslope par 3.

Need to aviod the fairway bunker on the left, the small green is slighly elevated & well protected by bunkers.

Fairly long par 5, the tee shot is up slope & the approach will be back down the slope.

Water is the left all the way to the green, the fairway is also titled to the left.

A pretty straight forward par 3 with bunkers on both side.

A medium length par 5, bunkers are well positioned, need to place your shots carefully.

Longer hitter can bomb the tee shot over the bunker on the right for a shorter approach.

The hole is slighly uphill, bunkers are on both side of the green.

A fairly longer hole as it plays uphill, the greenside bunkers are deep, try to aviod at all cost.

The fairway bunker on the right is massive, stay left if you can, the green is elevated.

Downhill par 3, water is the left & bunkers are on the right.

A short but interesting par 5, longer hitter may be able to try 2 on but approach will have to deal with water just in front of the green.

Water is on the left & in front, green is well proected by bunkers.

The hole plays slighly up the slope.

A long par 5, a long & straight 2nd is important as the landing area is tight.

Water is on the left here & all the way to the green, there are plently of fairway bunkers too.

Fairly straight forward hole, green is protected by front bunkers

Going gently upslope with abunker on the right, the approach is downslope with water also on the right side.

A short hole from the white tee but is going upslope with fairway bunkers on either side.

A par 5, tee shot is up the upslope, the approach will be back down the slope.

A long par 3, need to carry water all the way.

Need to carry water here, the more you lean right the closer you get to the green.

This is the famous crocodile hole(1, 2), don’t worry, they are fenced up behind the green.
This is a tough hole not only you need a good & solid drive but also need a good approach to clear the water.

This is a nice downhill par 3.

The finishing hole is a dogleg right, gently uphill.

For the die harder golfer, if 27 holes at A’famosa is not enough, you can play another three 27 holes courses, they are Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club,Ayer Keroh Country Club & Orna Golf and Country Club which are about 35 minutes drive away.
