Course Design
Another typical Jack Nicklaus design with very generous landing area for tee shots on most holes but most 2nd or approach to the greens will play harder with deep & big greenside bunkers.
Most greens are relatively flat or with little borrows, the distance from blue is medium length at 6,424 yards, most tee shots will have little or no long carries over hazards.

This starting hole is fairly long at 405 yards, longer hitters should be able to carry the mount at the landing area and get a nice roll. The 2nd is downslope and the green is protected by a big bunker on the right.
-
The teeshot is downslope and the approach is back up the slope, green is guarded by a big bunker on the right.
-
A fairly short par 4, the hard part is to land the approach on the very narrow green.
-
This is a downhill short par 3, the green is elevated with bunkers on left, right & back.
Selecting the right club is crucial. -
This teeshot of this par 5 is downslope and going back up the slope.
-
A downhil par 3.
-
Left is water but luckily the fairway is pretty wide.
-
The tee shot is similar to the 7th hole but this approach is uphill…making it a touch tougher.
-
The tee shot of this par 5 needs to have a nice carry to clear and water is on the left all the way.
-
The tee shot of this par 4 is slightly downslope.
-
The landing area of this par 5 is very generous, but be careful with the 2nd as water is on the left and very much in play, the green is guarded by bunkers.
-
Downslope par 3 with a long & narrow green.
-
The best is to lean left (to shorten to 2nd shot distance to the green) but be careful with the water there, the approach is to cross water on the left ….a nice & challenging hole -
The fairway is split up in 2 levels by big fairway bunkers making the fairway will be a very good shot.
-
Longer hitters may want to carry the bunkers on the left, to make the approach shorter to this uphil par 5..
-
Tee shot needs to carry water in front, the green is behind the small mount in front.
-
A par 3 with water on the front & left.
-
Going uphill all the way, danger on the right with bunker & OB right of cart path, the green is guarded by a deep front left bunker.
007’s Rating
As mentioned earlier, the club house is nice & big, fairways of both North & west course are generous……unless your tee shots go off the target a long way, which is great for me……
Stayed overnight at the club’s this time & found the rooms are nice & clean which are larger than normal hotel rooms and with a view of the fairways with a balcony. The club also has their own massage room service which is very convenient
I like the overall ‘performance’ of the club & course, hopefully, I will be able to take some nicer pictures next time as it was really foggy & rained heavily at the time I played there.
