Scorecard / Club Facilities / View 1, 2 / Entrace / Outdoor Cafe
Introduction
This is one of the most exclusive golf club due to its member & guest policy only, with 36 holes, known as A, B C & D course. The club is conveniently located and is a short taxi ride of about 30 minutes from the border at Huang Gang (70 RMB), and from Lu Wo it will take about 40′ and 90 RMB.
Club Facilities & Service
The club is reasonably well equipped with nice finishes, locker room is spacious & cafe is decent. The cafe is designated as a no smoking area.
Fairway & Green maintenance
Due to the clubs’ strict members & guests only policy, the fairways are usually in excellent shape. The greens are also in very good shape – surprisingly quick.
Caddy Service & knowledge
Caddy’s knowledge of the course are generally average, can be better, service are usually good though.
Course Design
Both C & D courses are built on and around a hill but you will find most fairways are quite flat with generous landing areas.
The blue tee is 6,500 to 6,600 yards and red only at 4,900 yards with not much in the way of water and bunkers. The course is fairly easy to play but the C course is the more challenging of the two.
The view from the course is nice & quiet (1, 2, 3), however: there are few old village houses nearby on course D.
The A/B Course is generally quite flat; the exception being A8 – a huge downhill par 3. Overall, it is quite interesting and very playable.

-
The tee shot is slightly downhill with a nice wide fairway. The green is protected with 2 deep bunkers.
-
From an elevated tee a long iron/fairway wood is all that’s required.
-
A dogleg right. The 2 & 3rd shots are uphill.
-
Another big downhill fairway with water on the right of the green. -
Medium length par 3 over water. Pretty hole.
-
An uphill dogleg left hole with water on your left …..
-
A gentle downhill par 4.
-
Big time downhill par 3.
-
A relatively long straightaway par 4.
-
A short dogleg left with water on the left of the green.
-
An uphill dogleg left with bunkers waiting for your wayward tee shot.
-
A downhill par 3, the green is elevated so try to land it on or you will have a difficult chip.
-
A long par 5, the tee shot is downhill & will go back up the hill to the left.
-
One of the longest par 3in China, downhill with a pond on the right side.
-
A short slightly downhil par 4, the location of the green is indicated by a blue arrow.
-
The best landing spot is the blue arrow, leaving you an ideal shot to the green on the right which is protected by water..
-
Downhill par 5 with water on the left all the way to the green.
-
Another dogleg rightwith plently of water.

#1, Par 4, index 2.
Blue tee 464, white 447, red 338 yards.
A long par 4 shaped like a ‘S’. Good distance off the tee is very important & the even harder part is the second shot which requires equally good distance to carry the water in front of the green.
-
#2, par 4, index 18
Blue tee 325, white 310, red 258 yards
This is a short par 4 with a uphill, so it actually plays a little longer.
-
#3, par 5, index 16
Blue 510, white 472, red 400 yards
This is a ‘short’ par 5. The tee shot will land on an upslope with not much roll, the second & third will be also be going uphill, making par is not too hard here as long as you keep out of the bunkers around and putt well on the very slopey green……..
-
#4, par 3, index 10
Blue tee 136, white 125, red 110 yards
The tee is of top of a hill, going down 60 to 70 feet down to a green surrendered by water.
-
#5, par 4, index 8
Blue tee 333, white 325, red 245 yards
-
#6, par 4, index 12。
Blue tee 375, white 362, red 262 yards
This is an intimidating tee shot – have to thread your ball between the gap in the trees. There is actually a lot more space than you think.
-
#7, par 4, index 4
Blue tee 423, white 400, red 275 yards
A long and hard par 4 as the fairway is going uphill with quite a few bunkers around the green.
-
#8, par 3, index 14.
Blue tee 163, white 140, red 94 yards
-
#9, par 5
Blue tee 540, white 513, red 442 yards
-
#1, par 5,
Blue tee 551, white 529, red 404 yards
The first and second shots are big downhill, the hard part…. perhaps, is to get the third shot to the green as you can see below, it is protected by plently of bunkers and water.
-
#2, par 4
-
#3, par 4
The is a long par 4, the fairway bunkers on the right will catch your
drive if you are too aggressive.
-
-
Took the driver out on this C shape fairway and paid the price as I didn’t bother to check with the scorecard or withthe caddy beforehand….. the result was I overshot the fairway and ended up inside the trees at the end of
the fairway, long hitter shouldn’t go beyond a 4 iron.
-
#6, par 3, index 13
Blue 167, white 133, red 97 yards
-
#7, par 4, index 9
Blue 377, white, red 303 yards
This is a pretty hole with its 8 to 10 story high tee ground, you can catch a 360° view of the course, this is one good looking hole you will not forget.
* Don’t go over the green….major trouble there! -
#8, par 5
Relatively straight forward par 5..just be careful with the approcach to the rasied green, anything short of the green will be rolling back into water.
-
#9, par 3,
Blue 151, white 138, red 112 yards
This is a beautiful par 3 with lots of flowers beds and landscaping.
007’s Rating
I am very happy with the design of the course, particularly with the memorable ‘high’ teeing ground on D7. The conditions of the course was equally impressive at the time of my visit. All 4 courses are relatively easy (the difficulty lies with the length of the blue tee of around 6,600 yards) & beginner friendly. The exception is the C & D course which are bit more undulating & difficult.
